Eid Al-Fitr :

Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and is also known for the "Breaking the Fast" festival.

Millions of Muslims around the world will gather with their families and friends, attend morning prayers, offer generous offerings and eat meals together and thank them for the food.
Avoiding food and drinks during Ramadan is too early to remind you of how lucky we are in choosing food and drinks.

During Eid, families take turns eating food, going to big markets and giving food to the poor.
Eid, meaning "festival", is a three-day festival of joy and gratitude for the blessings of daily life.
Thank you for lifeFor Muslims, Eid thanks Allah for giving them the strength to be quick and self-controlled.

In everyday life, our lives are taken for granted. Ramadan to many is a reminder that one should take care of himself, lose weight and eat well in the evening.
Fasting is not an easy task and Eid is a celebration to not only do this, but also a gift of life.
Family thanks giving like many festival celebrations, Eid is celebrated by spending time with family and friends.

Today, we live in a busy society where we are always busy with work and daily responsibilities.
Unfortunately, many of us will never find the time to spend with people we love. During Eid, Muslims are encouraged to have fun and socialize to our family and friends. Eid Mubarak! :

1. What is Eid?

Eid literally means "feast" or "feast" in Arabic. There are two important items in the Islamic calendar each year - Eid al-Fitr earlier this year and Eid al-Adha later. Eid al-Fitr is a three-day festival and is known as "Little Eid" or "Little Eid" compared to Eid al-Adha, which goes on for four days and is known as "Greater Eid."

 2. Why is Eid celebrated twice a year?  :

Two Eids recognize, celebrate and commemorate two very different events that are very important in the Islamic story. Eid al-Fitr means "fast food festival." The fastest, in this case, is Ramadan, which commemorates the revelation of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad and requires Muslims to hurry from sunrise to sunset on the moon. 3. How do Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr?

Eid al-Fitr includes two to three days of celebrations including special morning prayers. People greet each other with “Eid Mubarak,” meaning “Blessed Eid” and a formal ceremony. Delicious dishes are prepared at home and gifts are given to children and those in need. In addition Muslims are encouraged to forgive and seek forgiveness. Habits vary from country to country. In many Muslim countries, Eid al-Fitr is a national holiday. Schools, offices and businesses are closed so family, friends and neighbors can enjoy the festivities together.

In the U.S. and the U.K., Muslims may request to have a day off from school or work to go or celebrate with family and friends. In countries such as Egypt and Pakistan, Muslims decorate their homes with lamps, twigs, or flowers. Special meals are prepared and are invited by friends and family to celebrate. Beloved ones, the colorful lights of Ramadan, illuminating the streets of Amman, Jordan, throughout the holy month of fasting. Ken Chitwood, CC BY in places like Jordan, and most of its Muslim population, days before Eid al-Fitr saw a rush in local supermarkets and "special Ramadan" markets as people prepared to swap gifts for Eid al-Fitr . In Turkey and former Ottoman-Turkish regions such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Azerbaijan, and the Caucasus, it is also known as "Underer Bayram" or "festival" in Turkish.

4. How do Muslims celebrate Eid al-Adha?

Another event, Eid al-Adha, is "sacrifice." It comes at the end of Hajj, an annual pilgrimage to the country by millions of Muslims to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia that exists once, but only to those in power.

 What is Eid-ul-Adha?

Although Eid-ul-Adha does not have a direct relationship with the Hajj Tourism Tour, it is the day after the completion of the Hajj and is therefore important in time.Eid-ul-Adha Day falls on the tenth day of the last (twelfth) month of the Islamic Calendar; Dhu-al-Hijjah. The date of receipt of the reports is based on the official appearance of the month, following the completion of the annual Hajj Holy pilgrimage - which is obligatory for all Muslims who fit the criteria, one of the five essential pillars of Islam.

The Eid-ul-Adha celebration commemorates the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim on Allah SWT and his readiness to sacrifice his son, Ismail. At the very sacrifice, Allah SWT replaced Ismail with a ram, which was to be sacrificed in place of his son. This command from Allah SWT was a test of the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to obey his Lord's command, without hesitation. Therefore, Eid-ul-Adha means the festival of sacrifice.Depending on the country, Eid-ul-Adha celebrations can last anywhere between two to four days. The Qurbani (sacrifice) practice is performed following the Eid Salaah (Eid Prayers), performed at a congregation in the mosque closest to Eid morning.

The Qurbani action consists of sacrificing an animal as a sacrifice to mark the occasion commemorating the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim Allah SWT. This is also known as Udhiya. Animal sacrifice days include three days, from the 10th to the 12th of Dhu-al-Hijjah.The sacrificial animal must be a sheep, lamb, goat, cow, bull or camel; A sheep, lamb or goat has one quart of Qurbani, and a bull, cow or camel has seven shares per animal. The animal must be healthy and over a certain age in order to be slaughtered, in a friendly, sacred Islamic way.

The meat of the Qurbani can be divided into three equal parts per portion; one third is for you and your family, one third for friends, and one third should be given to those in need.Traditionally, the day is used to celebrate with family, friends and loved ones, usually a new or better dress and gifts.
