In this section, we will briefly introduce
some concepts and propose a theoretical study of the nature of work, specific alternatives to ethical thinking, and a brief analysis of the meaning of professional responsibility. We will then provide some basic ideas on how ethical issues may appear in what you teach, and give some basic ideas on how to start emphasizing these issues in the classroom.
HISTORY:
"Profess": a public declaration, an oath of entry to a religious order. a commitment (vows) to work for a good end.
16th century: commitment to pursuit of learning (three learned professions are divinity, law, and medicine, then war); being an authority on the body of knowledge, task-specific; by being skilled, being by pieces, not by amateur.
19th century (late): "New technology
is in existence, and old technology is highly respected".
Group Work:
Delivers essential services make a commitment to serve the community.
It enters special relationships in the market place, not just in the bad and the collapsing; commercial division.
A Professional becomes a professional where:
A group of people engaged in the same work plan to work in an ethical manner, or to work to uphold the notion of good behavior. (e.g. doctors plan to treat the sick, the library plans to promote access to information, etc.)

(2) Members set and follow specific goals for their professional career.
At least one of those standards must exceed the law, the marketplace, the general character (what the average person should do) and the need for public opinion. (e.g. a good mercenary only needs to fulfill the terms of his contract, a good, well-trained soldier should serve his country with respect, even if the general morality, law, and public opinion are not required.)
(3)These special values bind to the behavior of “so-called” members of the profession. If a member freely declares himself to be a part of the work, he voluntarily states that he will follow these special rules of conduct. If the majority of professional members follow the principles, the profession will have a good reputation and the members will generally benefit; if the majority of members violate these voluntary standards, people who claim to be members of a particular profession will be miserable or at least not get the benefit of calling him or her a job.
It recognizes other members, including those employed elsewhere, such as peers / colleaguesDemonstrates judgment in the performance of professional duties and follows appropriate professional standards.
Accept the employee's agreement to work ethically (usually expressed as a code of conduct) as determining the role of the obligation.

Engineers Social Impact And Responsibilities :
engineers of the built environment, we have a great mpact on the world around us. "it's all a chanceand the obligation. "in such a way that all the inhabitants of the earth- the ants are alive, and the standard of living we expectIt forms part of our quality of life, which is also enhanced with the infrastructure around us; a large part of this infrastructure made by our engineering. Our challenge as developers, now and in the future, is to help Infrastructure for rural and middle-income communities the developing world. And, with the increase of urban migration, we are confronting each other other challenges in terms of our economic potential to provide infrastructure in new urban areas; how do we make t available infrastructure, and how do we do all of this a a humane and progressive way? With half the world's population now living in urban areas, urbanization has been and will continue to be a fast process with almost every increase in human prediction coming years occurring in urban areas in developed countries. 2050 forecasts indicate that 70 percent of the world's population lation will be cities; another 6.4 billion people will live in cities territories (equivalent to the total world population in 2004) and most of these populations will be concentrated in Asia (54 percent) and Africa (19 percent). China will have greatness the population of the city is one billion people by 2050. Urbanization is often referred to as the process of growth part of the urban population living in the country. e the terms 'urban areas' and 'cities' are often taken to mean i same thing, but urban areas include cities and other smaller ones accommodation. For example, half of the world's urban population lives in less than 500,000 people, while Meg- acids - usually separated by a similar growth rate and amount population of over 10 million - just 9 house percent of urban population. Arup40 conducted signifi cant research on the power of e urbanization and we understand the impact of urbanization in society and the positive role it can play play in social and economic development. Caring for you 40 International fireworks for engineers, designers and programmers. http://www.arup.com population growth in urban areas provides sustainable developing a better economic opportunity at the scale various lines. In contrast, cities can overlap Many of the world's problems are environmental. Cities provide both an opportunity and a challenge in terms of infrastructure provision. It is important to understand the challenges associated with it entering the cities and seeing this depending on the opportunities change. Long-term planning for urban areas requires completely separated. Any city or town has many elements or 'urban' ingredients and there is a complex relationship among them the same: institutions, depending on the body structure; programs and services needed by an urban environment to activity; services required by urban residents; desirable the qualities an urban environment should have. Whether in developing or developed countries, it is physical Infrastructure related to urban construction is affected much more than basic services; infrastructure can make people- life is better, especially when viewed in terms of service provides. It’s not just about placing pipes and drains inside ground but with regard to 'public health' by the provision of clean and safe water and sanitation, it's not just about design- good, safe and reliable transport and transport about providing 'accessibility' or 'travel' rent- Mind and education about determinism and cohesion transport and transport are required.
